Chris Kite began his career in 1963 and started the practice in Bracknell in 1970. He is a generalist with experience in most fields of UK domestic law.
His caseload includes commercial disputes, sales and acquisitions, distribution and franchise agreements, computer contracts, landlord and tenant, employment, trusts, Wills, succession and probate.
In his limited spare time Chris races a Formula 3 car.
- Lauren Blackman née Everest
Lauren Joined Kite Griffin in 2014 as an Office Junior.
Lauren read Law at University before completing the Legal Practice Course and training contract simultaneously to enable her to qualify as a solicitor in June 2016.
Lauren has experience in a wide range of property matters including residential conveyancing. Lauren also has experience dealing with Wills and Probate.
- Jen Kirby
- Assistant Solicitor
Jen started her career with Kite Griffin as an office junior in 2015, following completion of her Law degree at the University of Kent. She went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford, graduating with a Distinction. Jen subsequently trained at the firm under the supervision of the principal solicitor, Christopher Kite, until 1st May 2018, when she qualified as a solicitor.
Jen has been involved in a wide range of the team’s work, including residential conveyancing, commercial leases and business acquisitions, equity releases, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, matrimonial and financial proceedings, possession proceedings between landlords and tenants, and property disputes between co-owners.
- Katherine Lanzuolo
- Senior Legal Assistant
Katherine began working as an Office Junior with Kite Griffin in April 1999. Katherine quickly showed an aptitude for Wills and Probate and due to her wealth of experience now heads up our Probate Department.
Over the years she has successfully dealt with private client work ranging from straight forward Wills to multi-million pound estates. Katherine also handles Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship Applications.
Katherine married her Italian husband in 2012 and they now have two children. When not at work, Katherine is usually acting as social secretary and taxi driver for the children!
- Lauren Saunders
- Trainee Legal Executive
Lauren began working as an Office Junior with Kite Griffin in July 2015 and commenced a training contract in August that year. Since then Lauren has achieved Associate status with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executive and is working on achieving her Level 6 Diploma in Law and Practice to enable her to become a Fellow.
Lauren works closely with Lauren Blackman née Everest and can assist with residential conveyancing, wills, probate and family matters.
In between studying, Lauren spends her time competing in dressage and show jumping as well as volunteering for British Eventing.
- Deborah Kite
- Chartered Legal Executive
Deborah jointed Kite Griffin Solicitors in June 1999, as a residential conveyancer to assist in the Conveyancing Department, having qualified as a Fellow of The Institute of Legal Executives (now known as The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) in Conveyancing and Probate on 17th August 1978.
Deborah continues to assist in the Conveyancing Department on a part-time basis.
- Lucy Blackman
- Senior Legal Assistant
Lucy joined Kite Griffin in August 2007 as an Office Junior. Lucy took an interest in matrimonial work and began working on her own matrimonial files 18 months after joining Kite Griffin.
Lucy has extensive experience in all aspects of relationship breakdowns to include Divorce, Dissolution, Separation Agreements, Financial Orders and Pre-Nuptial Agreements.
Lucy also has a large amount of experience in drafting change of name documents and Wills.
When not in the office, Lucy can be found running around after her two young boys!
- Donna Bullock
- Office Manager
Donna joined Kite Griffin Solicitors in March 1988, starting as an Office Junior and eventually moving up the ranks to become an Assistant Bookeeper and Legal Assistant and finally becoming Office Manager of the practice.
Donna works predominantly in assisting the Principal of the practice in matters dealing with Commercial Property; Company; Litigation; Employment; Debt Recovery, as well as matters pertaining to the management of the practice.
Donna, along with our other members of staff, is an integral part of the practice and an extremely valued member of the team.
- Rita Kaundun
- Legal Assistant
Rita joined Kite Griffin as legal assistant in April 2017 after successfully completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law. She has an LLB from the University of London and a BA in Hindi from the University of Delhi, India. Previously, Rita has worked as medical secretary at an NHS hospital for a year.
Before moving to the UK in 2008, Rita worked as journalist and newsreader on national television and radio in Mauritius for six years. She also worked as a secondary school teacher for three months.
Rita is also fluent in French, Hindi and her native Mauritian Creole. Rita is a mother of two boys and enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family.
- Pixie Kite
- Head of Security
Pixie joined the team at Kite Griffin in 2017 as a part time junior meet and greet member.
Pixie has swiftly risen to Head of Security and her unique zest for learning is a quality admired by all.
Pixie’s hobbies are playing and relaxing.
